FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: How long do I have to wait to drive my car after the windshield is replaced? A: We use a high modulus urethane kit (glue) that sets very quickly. You should be fine to drive your car within an hour. Your safety is our number one concern - so here are a few things to remember:
ALWAYS wear your safety belt.
Leave your windows cracked a 1/4" for at least 24 hours after installation as to not create pressure inside the vehicle.
Do not take your car through a high pressure car wash for at least three days after your glass has been replaced.
If you have any concerns, call us just to be safe.
Q: What kinds of materials do you use? Will it be the same as what I previously had?
A: Our glass and materials are of the highest quality available. Your glass will be matched to your vehicle by year, make, model, and options. If you have a shade band, third visor, or even a rain sensor . . . your replacement glass will have those same features.
Q: Can I get dealer glass?
A: Yes. However, not all insurance companies compensate for dealer parts. The truth is, the dealer does not manufacture the glass - they outsource it. Even though it may have the dealer emblem, it was not made by the dealer. We all get the same glass from the same place(s).
A: By phone - from Tallahassee, call (850) 539-4527, or Panama City (850) 872-7007. We have an after-hours message system, just leave a message and we will respond within two hours of reopening.
Q: Do you provide any other glass besides windshields?
A: Yes. We supply, repair and replace any auto glass, except sunroofs. No matter if it's a back glass, side mirror, rearview mirror, door glass, vent glass, or quarter glass - we can help. When in doubt, just give us a call - if we don't provide it, we'll point you in the right direction.
